if this is a dream, please don't wake me

It's payback time in a big way.  Remember the time I had a fall tour?  And for my entire fall tour I did not stay in one hotel the entire time?  Remember the time my spring tour began and it was also characterized by a slew of homestays?  Well I am finally in a hotel again.  And not a hotel room.  A suite.

I have a king sized bed, a separate living room, a fridge and microwave, with bowls, plates, a cork-screw and flatware.  I have two TVs, each with their own DVD player.  There is free breakfast (that I have heard RAVE reviews of) and about six fast food restaurants in walking distance.  The laundry room is practically next door to my suite.  There is a pool and hot tub right downstairs.  The mall (which includes a Target!) is off the same exit of the limited access highway as my hotel.

Oh yeah, and the high speed internet is truly high speed.  And it wouldn't matter if I didn't have a laptop, because I have a computer in my room.

Last week?  Solid show.  AMAZING mermaids.  I had the best Celia I've ever had and ever will have- I mean her voice was UNREAL and she just GOT the character.  Everyone else managed just fine, and those strugfest town criers really pulled through in the end.  We stayed with great people and I managed to watch the entire "Key to Time" story arc of "Dr. Who" (I think the writers really need to bring Romana back).  Fortunately there is more Tom Baker episodes on iTunes which I will happily be purchasing and downloading with my nice high speed internet.  And I am definitely going to miss the home made apricot hefeweizen...and the theatre.  It was so nice being a in a real theatre.  Plus the kids all got to sit in the green room and watch the show on the TV monitor until it was time for them to go on, which ROCKED.

We're back to the ole K-6, but we've had some fabulous weeks with that age range.  And even if the kids suck (and I know that they are NOT going to) I don't think anything could spoil the absolute euphoria induced by the gloriousness of this living situation.
