Also I am spending my entire tour in Washington and British Columbia. And of course, working Thanksgiving because, well, that's an American holiday. But the good news is, as of right now, it's looking like I am going to have the entire month of December off! (note: I feel like that is PROBABLY going to change) So maybe I will get home in time for some Thanksgiving leftovers?
(p.s. I think I might just fly into D.C. at the end of fall tour and visit people there/go down to H'burg for a while. Thoughts?)
Our group here in Kansas is great. We've got just over forty really sweet and excited kids, most of them over nine. Which means that all of our groups are about full, though we only have about half as many five/six/seven year olds as we are supposed to, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Our Red this week has got some serious pipes- and she's only eleven!
Tonight we're going out to dinner with our contact. Word on the street is she is super cool and fun to hang out with. And we're going for Mexican- Sam and I have found that no matter how often we eat it, we still don't get tired of Mexican. I think it probably has something to do with the fact that I think guacamole should be it's own food group.
