upgrade: complete

So we are staying in this swell little country town outside of the place where we are actually working.  I'm staying with Jon, a former tour actor and one of our contact's parents and Sam is staying across the street with his grandma.  And let me tell you, these are cute, clean little country houses with CATS! Four of them at my house and two at Sam's.  I somehow seriously doubt there will be any rodent encounters this week.

Anyhow our contacts are awesome.  I have a feeling we'll be hanging out with them quite a bit this week.  And the couple of kids I have met who are in the show this week (it's a pre-registered camp) are super nice and articulate.  Always a good thing when dealing with theatre.  Also I have family out here (who may or may not own a ranch) and our contacts want to go see "The Dark Knight" again (we, again, could not stop talking about how good it was!).

Shaping up to be a good week.  My creative juices are pretty nil right now, maybe as the result of eating too much at dinner (or more likely, too much ice cream afterwards).  I hope I get to go play "Rockband" at my contacts' apartment.  Though I think it may be sans beer (unlike in my JMU days...you know a whole two months ago).  Oklahoma is beginning to make a better impression on me already.

(and please leave comments.  i like to know people are reading my blog- Jake you are off the hook-and when people leave comments i feel less far away from them)

I couldn't figure out whether by "off the hook" you meant I was cool, rad, awesome because i do comment already...or I didn't need to comment because i do comment already.

So i figured I might as well comment to either retain my awesomeness, or go beyond the call of duty.

Anyways, I was thinking how much I enjoy that you and I read each other's blogs. It keeps our teams connected in a nice way. I love hearing about your adventures in the middle of nowhere and somewhere...and I hope you like reading ours.
