destroyed...

...in a totally awesome way.  Tonight we went mountain biking in the flat-top Mesas.  It was unbelievable.  I've never been mountain biking before and I barely had to walk my bike at all!  We biked up to the this little ledge where you could sit and have the most fabulous view of the Colorado River.  Plus three different eco-systems all at once.  Flat top high desert mountains, some other kind of mountains that I can't quite remember the term for, and a fertile valley.  I almost ran over a rabbit on the way down.  I am REALLY gonna be feeling it tomorrow.  Hopefully the long soak in the hot-tub I just had will help ease the pain.

Sam and I hung out with our homestay family's oldest daughter for a while in the hot tub tonight.  She is a really awesome girl, and I am gonna miss her, and the rest of her family a lot.  They have been so so amazing to us.  I really really want to get into mountain biking now.  And I want to learn to rope calves.

I love my life.  And to my pleasant surprise, the albeit very small wolfgang was awesome.  I worked with them today and was totally dreading it.  But then they all learned really quickly, Little Lovable Wolf knew his lines, and they all enjoyed themselves at rehearsal.  I taught them everything and we ran over it all twice in forty minutes.  I think I've just devised a really good method of teaching them.
