send in the clowns

A large wave of people are leaving today.  My friends who are going to Connecticut leave today, though they won't be there until the beginning of August.  I am so excited that my parents will be able to go see them.

Last night we watched "The Little Red Truck" the documentary about the company.  Seriously, the film makers need to make sure that it runs for a week in LA and a week in New York, so that it can be nominated for an Oscar (apparently that is part of the criteria).  According the Veteran TADs who are here, the documentary is a really accurate depiction of what life on the road is like.  I just can't wait until they get the new website running and I can get a ringtone of the little blonde kid saying "cock-a-doodle-doo!"

I get to do a teaching practice with children today.  The people who are leaving today did a teaching practice yesterday, and the kids could not have been cuter- especially this one little blonde boy who, when I asked him what shows he had been in, listed off seven MCT shows and then said that that was "all he could remember".  He's nine.

And in other news, last night I discovered that there was free laundry in the dorms.  Awesome.
