it was a dark and stormy...morning

Today, it is cold and rainy.  But almost every other day that it has started out cold and rainy it has ended up warm and beautiful, so I have hope.

We're slowly being weened off of training sessions.  This morning we have a really important one from my perspective, since it is about residencies on military bases and, lo and behold, my first residency is on an air force base.  I've never been to a military base, despite having many military brat friends, so I am interested to see how they work.  There's all these really specific instructions about which gate you have to go to, turning off your head lights when you approach the gate, etc. etc.

We got our itineraries yesterday, as I said.  I am leaving on Saturday morning to go stay with family friends in Utah.  I haven't seen them in years and could not be more excited!  And based on the conversation I had with Ceal, I think the feeling is mutual.  I've never been to Utah...nor any of the states I am visiting on tour.

My tour is 9 booked weeks, and in those 9 weeks I am visiting 7 states.  I am pretty astounded.

I am getting to the point where I know all of the blocking for every character in the whole show except for myself.  Which is probably bad, since I am playing the wolf our first week out and our first week has a friday, rather than the usual saturday show.  Yikes.
