happiness is the high desert

I am sitting in the kitchen at my homestay right now.  I just had two glasses of plum wine from a local winery.  We went out for really delicious authentic mexican food.  And now we're waiting for chocolate chip cookies to cool so we can eat them.  Sam and I have been sharing family photographs with our homestay and our host mom has been sharing photos with us.  She showed us the flower garden, and vegetable garden, and pictures of the pumpkins they grew in fall.  I am going to be so very sad to leave here.  Really.

On the upswing, Sam and I are planning a winery tour on sunday.  And beginning to think about what adventures we might want have next week.  Suggestions of things to do/free places to stay are encouraged.

Not much to say about rehearsal today, except it became less frustrating as the day went on.  We're gonna have a show.  And one that I am sure the parents and grandparents will enjoy.
